You can easily dim the light by turning the knob on the side.

The built-in timer keeps the light on for 6 hours and then turns it off for 18 hours before automatically turning it on again.
Battery operation makes it easy to place anywhere without connecting to a mains supply.
The LED light source lasts approximately 25,000 hours.
